Cemtech Conferences is a leading conference and exhibition event for the global
cement sector. Cemtech Conferences, first established in 1991, has become one of
the leading events in the annual cement industry calendar, offering a consistent
level of high-quality conference programmes and networking opportunities for
cement industry professionals worldwide.
The Cemtech story begins in March 1991 when the first major Eastern European
cement conference and exhibition was organised in Prague, Czech Republic, before
an audience of more than 300 cement specialists over a three-day event. Since
then Cemtech has travelled extensively around Europe each year, being held in
over 15 countries and attracting well over 2000 individual delegates. The last
event in September 2007 revisited Prague before an audience of over 350 cement

Recently Cemtech has now expanded to include cement conferences in the Middle
East, including Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and in 2006, the first
Cemtech Conference to be held in the United States was successfully concluded in
Florida. This meeting was repeated under the Cemtech Americas banner in 2007 and
we return to Orlando Florida, this December 2008 for our third such conference
and exhibition.
2008 has also seen Cemtech reach Asia with the first conference in Singapore in
June at the Pan Pacific hotel with some 150 participants, an event voted a great
success by participants and setting the scene for what is set to become a
regular annual event.
The success of Cemtech is simple. The philosophy for each event is to
develop a high-quality programme and to include a major international exhibition
adjacent to the conference. Arrange cement plant and cement terminal visits and
